Terms of use
Supanova Bridge at bridge.supanova.app (the “Bridge”) is operated by SUPANOVA, CORP., a corporation (sociedad anónima) incorporated under Law 32 of 1927 of the Republic of Panama, registered in the Mercantile Section of the Public Registry of Panama under Folio No. 155778614, with its registered office at San Francisco, Calle 74, Midtown Building, 16th Floor, Office 1601, Panama City, Republic of Panama (“supanova”, “we”, “us”). These terms apply to the Bridge in addition to the supanova Terms of service. Where they differ, these terms govern the Bridge. By connecting a wallet or making a transfer, you accept them.
What the Bridge does
The Bridge is a one-way route from Ethereum to the Canton Network. You send USDC from your Ethereum wallet. The same amount is issued through Circle as USDCx, a USDC-backed token on Canton, to an account we operate. You choose what the recipient gets. For Canton Coin (CC), we buy CC with the USDCx on a third-party order book and deliver it. For USDCx, we deliver the USDCx itself, less our service fee. Either goes to the Canton Party ID you enter. The Bridge does not send assets back to Ethereum.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18, use your own wallet and funds, and be allowed to use the Bridge where you live. It may not be used by sanctioned persons, from sanctioned regions or for any unlawful purpose. We may refuse, pause or limit transfers to meet our legal obligations or to protect the Bridge and its users.
Estimates, fees and limits
- Before you deposit, the review shows the price, our service fee, any conversion fee and the time a transfer usually takes. The form shows the minimum and maximum for one transfer.
- Ethereum network fees are paid by you, in your wallet.
- A CC amount is an estimate. What is delivered follows the order book’s price when the purchase is made, and can be higher or lower. No minimum amount is guaranteed.
- If the price moves after your deposit, a CC purchase can wait until it meets the order book’s current minimum again.
- A USDCx amount is exact: the USDC you send, less the service fee shown.
- Each token can be paused on its own. The form says when one is paused, and why.
Your recipient
Tokens are delivered only to the full Canton Party ID you enter. We check that it can receive the token you chose before you deposit and again before delivery, but we cannot reverse a delivery to the Party ID you entered. Check it carefully.
Timing
A transfer usually takes about 30 minutes for CC and about 20 for USDCx, most of it waiting for Ethereum to finalize your deposit, and it can take longer. Once your deposit is confirmed on Ethereum, it cannot be cancelled. If a step fails, the Bridge retries it automatically and the transfer continues. You can close the page and come back to it with the same wallet.
Your funds during a transfer
From the moment USDCx is issued until your tokens are delivered, your transfer is held in a Canton account we operate for the Bridge. We account for it to your order and use it only to complete your transfer. Any USDCx that could not be converted remains yours: write to hello@supanova.app with your order number and we will send it to a Canton Party ID you control.
Third parties
The Bridge relies on Ethereum, the Canton Network, Circle for USDC and USDCx, a third-party order book and wallet connection services such as WalletConnect. We do not control them and are not responsible for their availability or performance. Circle and the other names and logos shown on the Bridge belong to their owners and do not imply endorsement.
Liability and law
The Bridge is provided “as is” and “as available”. The disclaimers, limits of liability, indemnity, governing law of the Republic of Panama and dispute terms of the supanova Terms of service apply to it. We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version.
Privacy
The supanova Privacy policy applies to the Bridge. This section explains what the Bridge itself processes. The controller is SUPANOVA, CORP.
What we process
- Your Ethereum address, and the message you sign to prove you control it. Signing it does not move funds.
- For each transfer: the recipient Party ID, the amounts, price and fees, the order and transaction identifiers, and its status.
- A session cookie, and technical logs such as IP address, browser and time of request, to run the Bridge securely.
We do not ask for your name or email address. Transfers are recorded on Ethereum and the Canton Network, where they are public or shared with the participants involved, and cannot be changed or deleted.
Why
To carry out the transfers you ask for, to keep the Bridge secure and prevent fraud and abuse, and to meet our legal obligations, including sanctions and record-keeping rules.
Who else receives it
Google Cloud hosts the Bridge. Circle and the order book receive what they need to process your transfer. Reown provides the wallet connection and can see your wallet address and IP address. Adobe Fonts and Fontshare serve the fonts. Some of them are outside Panama; where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
Transfer records are kept for as long as our record-keeping obligations require. A session ends after eight hours or when you disconnect your wallet. Technical logs are kept for a short time for security.
Cookies and storage
The Bridge sets one essential cookie, which keeps you signed in for up to eight hours. Your browser also keeps your wallet connection and the hash of any deposit you send, so the page can show your transfer when you return. There are no analytics or advertising cookies.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, as set out in the Privacy policy, by writing to hello@supanova.app. Records the law requires us to keep, and records on public networks, cannot be deleted.
Risks
Read these before you send funds, together with the supanova Risk disclosure. Only send what you can afford to lose.
- Price. CC is volatile. The amount delivered can differ from the estimate, and the purchase can wait if the price moves.
- No reversal. A confirmed deposit cannot be cancelled, and tokens delivered to the Party ID you entered cannot be recalled.
- Stablecoins. USDC and USDCx depend on Circle and their reserves, and can lose their peg.
- Technology. Ethereum, the Canton Network, smart contracts and the providers the Bridge uses can fail, slow down or be attacked, which can delay or affect a transfer.
- Regulation. The rules for digital assets differ between countries and keep changing, and may limit the Bridge or the assets it carries.
- No advice, no protection. Nothing on the Bridge is investment, legal or tax advice. Digital assets are not bank deposits and are not covered by deposit insurance.
Support
For a question, or a transfer that is taking longer than usual, write to hello@supanova.app with your order number. The Bridge shows it when a transfer takes longer than usual, and under Details on every receipt.
